What comes with my new hedgehog?
The Care Guide will have your important paperwork for your baby including helpful birthdate and vet information.
JEAR gives all new hedgie owners a sample of Pokey Crunch Hedgehog Food. We have free take-home boxes as well but we prefer you to bring a 12"x12" cardboard box from home with a dirty shirt to start the scenting process.
What age do hedgehogs get adopted out at?
We have special milestones that our babies must reach before leaving, and the go-home age ranges from 8 to 12 weeks.
What is the hedgehog buying experience like?
At your appointment, you get to meet the babies that are ready to go.
We have all supplies ready to go and we spend time going over care and instructions. Once you feel comfortable with your new baby you can take them home :)
